The Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) was formerly known as the Skilled Occupations List (SOL). This list contains occupations that have been assessed as being of high value to the Australian economy and which meet Australia’s longer term workforce needs.
On 1st July 2017, the Australian Government put different versions of the MLTSSL in different pieces of legislation (legislative instruments) applying to 189, 190, 489, 485, 186 and 457. This means that there is no longer a single MLTSSL.
